Daniel Luke Hill

Daniel Luke Hill, 23, of Sheshequin, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

He was born July 4, 2002, in Sayre, PA, the son of Danial R. and Robin (Rogers) Hill.

Daniel was a 2020 graduate of Athens Area High School. While in school, he played on the Varsity Football Team #51, where he was mentored by Coach Keith Kline, who treated him like his own son, and Coach Jack Young. He was currently employed by LOPKE where he performed various jobs.

He loved all animals but especially dogs and possums.

He is predeceased by his beloved dog, Timber; paternal grandparents Richard and Caroline Hill; maternal grandparents, Luke and Catherine Rogers.

Daniel is survived by son, Matthew Luke Hill; fiancé, Eve Martin; his loving parents, Danial and Robin Hill; sister and brother-in-law, Kristina and John Felt; nephews, Michael and Gabriel, and niece, Katie.

A Time of Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 S. Main St., Athens, PA. A Graveside Service will follow at Valley Sheshequin Cemetery, Ulster, PA.
