William N. Kretz

William N. Kretz, 85, of Sayre, PA, passed away on Thursday June 5, 2025 in Vestal, NY.

He was born on October 15, 1939, in Harrisburg, PA.

William was a Veteran of the US Army. He was an avid knife and boomerang maker and thrower. He loved playing tennis. William was a member of M.E.N.S.A.

William is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, William and Connie Kretz, daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Brent Basham, grandchildren, Megan Levin, Elizabeth Kretz, Emily Levin, Cieanna Hood, Taylor Basham, Kenna Basham, and Cody Basham, and his great grandson, Bentley.

At William’s request, no services are to be held. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
