Wanita Marie (Tunnicliff) Manuel

Wanita Marie Manuel, 71, of Athens, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 with her husband by her side at Robert Packer Hospital.

She was born in Olean, NY, on October 10, 1953, the daughter of the late Rowmain and Alice (Gee) Tunnicliff.

Wanita was all about her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She loved listening to Elvis Presley’s music and was an avid SciFi and horror movie fan.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her granddaughter, step-daughter, Melissa Manuel, and brothers and sisters.

Wanita is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, William Kenneth Manuel, daughter, Lana Morse, daughter/granddaughter, Sonya Rogers, son, Clayton Heasley, step-son and his wife, William and Jen Manuel, step-daughter and her husband, Betty and Charles Romig, step-son, Vincent Manuel and his wife Danielle McMahon, and her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored. She is also survived by her sister, Lois Manuel, brothers, Bert Tunnicliff, Rowmain Tunnicliff, and Albert Tunnicliff, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family may call on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 11:00am-1:00pm at the      Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Anne Canfield officiating.
