Vicki Lee Barton, 61, of Waverly, NY, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Robert Packer Hospital following an extended illness.
She was born on January 7, 1964, in Elmira, NY, the daughter of the late Charles and Addie (Page) Barton.
Vicki loved spending time with her family, friends, and her cats. She loved all animals, and taking care of them. Vicki enjoyed spending time outside, especially feeding the squirrels and gardening. She had a loving and caring nature. She was always right there to help anyone in need to do whatever she could. Vicki loved baking and traveling to Ocean City, MD with Toney and her step-granddaughter, Amaya. She was a member of Sayre VFW Post #1536 and the Sayre American Legion Post #283.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sisters, Carol and Sharon, brother Chucky, and brother-in-law, Henry.
Vicki is survived by her roommate, Toney Besecker, her beloved fur babies, Buddy and Peanut, stepchildren, Stacey, Amy, and Jason, step-granddaughter, Amaya, and her two great-grandsons, Bentley and Blaire. She is also survived by her sister, Linda, sister and brother-n-law, Donna and Donny, brother and sister-in-law, David and Diane, and sisters and brothers-in-law, Audrey and Victor, and Deborah and Wayne, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special thanks to Davey Anderson for being there and all he did for her.
A Time of Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00pm with the Rev. Robert Brigg officiating.
