Tim Allen

Tim Allen, 60, of Athens, PA, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Robert Packer Hospital, following a brief illness.

He was born on June 22, 1965, in Sayre, PA, the son of Jerry F. and Lois (Dalton) Allen.

Tim was a graduate of Athens High School. He was a clerk at Robert Packer Hospital in the Supply and Distribution Center for 40 years, retiring in June of 2025.

He enjoyed bowling most of his life and was always ready take part in Karaoke. Tim loved to hunt and fish. He loved all sports but he was an avid Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame Fan. He also was a fan of NASCAR.

He is predeceased by his father, Jerry F. Allen, maternal grandparents, Andrew and Regina Dalton, paternal grandparents, Cecil and Martha Allen, step-grandfather, Raph Andrus, and uncle, Bill Allen.

He is survived by his mother Lois Allen, brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel J. and Wendi Allen, and Matt and Debbie Allen, nephew, Hunter Allen, nieces, Katlin Allen, Alexa (Jake) Rupert, Aubrey Allen and fiancé Jordon, and Ashtyn Allen, great-nephews, Cooper Cady, Grayson Rupert, Lincoln Rupert, and Jamison Rupert, great-nieces, Joslyn Chandler and Vivian Rupert, several, aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Church of the Epiphany, 304 S. Elmer Avenue, Sayre, PA 18840. Additionally, a Celebration of Life will be held on the family homestead on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 1pm to 4pm at 2 Lois Lane, Athens, PA 18810.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
