Tami Marie (Gorey) Pazunas

Tami M. Pazunas, 61, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Robert Packer Hospital while surrounded by her loving family.

Tami was born on August 31, 1962, to Virginia and Thomas Gorey.

Tami’s greatest joys were her children and grandchildren and she was so excited to be welcoming her newest grandchild in the fall. Tami was known to be the life of any party she was invited to! She was always the first person on the dance floor! She was also very loved by her Wal-Mart family.

Tami is survived by her loving husband, Donald, Sr., children, Jessica (Stewart) and Donald, Jr. (Santana), grandchildren: McKinley and Ellie, sisters, Linda Callaci and Susan Matters, sisters-in-law, Barbara (Robert) Magnussen and Theresa Shaffsick as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Along with her parents, Tami was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Ann Pazunas and brother-in-law, Lenny Callaci.

The family would like to thank the amazing Caregivers on the 5th floor and ICU for the support and care she received.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 10:00am at the Church of the Epiphany, 304 South Elmer Avenue, Sayre, PA.
