Susan Elizabeth (Eike) Eike

Susan Elizabeth Eike, 66, of Sayre, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Athens Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.

She was born on July 18, 1957 in Waverly, NY the daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Kocik) Eike.

Susan was a 1975 graduate of Athens Area High School. She then attended Mansfield University for her Reading Specialist Degree. Susan held many positions throughout the Valley area. Her last position was with the Sayre Library until she had to retire due to her failing health. She was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the park; sitting, reading and feeding the squirrels.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Vanessa, her grandparents, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Susan is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Carol and Mike Dunbar of Sayre, PA, and many aunts and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11am at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA with Pastor John Vargason officiating.

Memorial donations may be made in Susan’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
