Stephen F. Lee

Stephen F. Lee, 70, of Elmira, NY, passed away with his family and 3 dogs by his side on May 6, 2026, at his home.

He was born on May 11, 1955, in Staten Island, NY, the son of the late John and Barbara (Wilson) Lee.

Stephen was a Faithful Member of AA, celebrating 42 years of sobriety. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and his dogs. He enjoyed bowling and playing baseball.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Bill Lee.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary A. (Daly) Lee, his beloved dogs, Henry, Jessie, and Sammie, siblings, John, Barbara, Elizabeth, Dorothy, Meg, and Eileen, caregiver, Gabby Lyon, his sister-in-law, Cindy Dyer, who sat with him for many hours and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In keeping with Stephen’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.

Memorial donations may be made in Stephen’s name to any local Alzheimer Charity.
