Shirley "Shirsh" (Conrad) Eggers

Shirley “Shirsh” (Conrad) Eggers age 61, of Milan, Pa went home to her Savior on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. Shirley was born on October 2. 1963 to the late Joseph Conrad and Darlene Patton.  

Shirley loved large - her relationship with God, family, and friends was very important to her. She especially enjoyed long car rides down country roads, windows down, a diet coke, and music loud with her beloved husband, Dave. She loved keeping in touch with her family and friends over the years. She enjoyed many hours crocheting with Lynda.  As well as her bible studies with Lynda and her sister Carol. She also enjoyed her books, and the time she spent at Spalding Memorial Library. Her favorite time was when she was spending it with her family around her. Her family holds dear many memories of her grandchildren around her while she listened to their stories, read to them, or was happily beating them at board games.  

She is predeceased by her sister-in-law, Sue Conrad and brother-in-law, Tony Rucker. 

Shirley is survived by her spouse of 44 years: David Eggers; three children: Kimberly (Tim) Mapes of Mainesburg, Amanda (Joey) Keenan of Sayre, Matthew (Anna) Eggers of Sayre; eleven grandchildren: Myles, Marec, Theron, Austin, Conrad, Kayden, Ashlynn, Jace, Lexie, Johnny, and Charlotte; five siblings: Carol Rucker, Joe (Debbie) Conrad, George (Sue) Conrad, Bill (Sandy) Conrad, and Walt Conrad; aunt: Phyllis Park; and her beloved dogs: Lady and Trixie. 

Friends and family may join the family at Greater Valley Assembly of God, 104 S. Main St. Athens, PA 18810, on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 11:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM.  

Shirley loved and appreciated her family at Greater Valley Assembly of God and in lieu of flowers a love offering may be made to the church.
