Sharon J. (VanAlstine) Slater

Sharon J. Slater, 79, of Burlington Twp., passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

She was born on November 13, 1946 in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late Erwin and Jean (Kellogg) VanAlstine.

Sharon was a School Bus Driver for Athens Area School District. In her younger years, she enjoyed horseback riding.

She is predeceased by her husband; George Slater and companion; Paul Swain, Jr.

Sharon is survived by her son; Kevin Collins (Carrie Northrup), granddaughter; Gabby (Jessie) Blevins, sisters; Anne Cole and Julie VanAlstine, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Honoring Sharon’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
