Ruth Webb Obituary

Ruth L. (née Reichhardt) Webb peacefully passed away on November 26, 2025. She was the devoted mother of Francis Webb, Jr. and his wife Kimberly, Shirley Weaver and her husband John, and Dennis Webb and his wife Shari. She was the cherished grandmother of Nicholas Webb and his wife Jessi, April Stanley, Kristie Bonner and her husband Timothy, Dennis Webb, Jr., Britanae Keeler and her husband Myke, and Alexis Webb. Ruth was blessed to be a loving great-grandmother to Julian Stanley, Jensen Stanley, Molly Fink and her husband Chris, Madeline Bonner, Timothy Bonner, Jr., Jacobi Webb, Siobhan Webb, Amari Keeler, Camden Thorne, and one great-grandchild on the way. She was also the proud great-great-grandmother of Fiona Fink.  Ruth is survived by her dear sister, Jeannette Harding, and was a loving aunt to Diane Andrews and Linda Dankmeyer.

Ruth was truly one of the kindest souls anyone could meet. She devoted her life to her family, finding her greatest joy in caring for them, supporting them, and spending time together. Her gentle spirit and warm heart made everyone feel welcome and deeply loved.

She enjoyed quiet comforts like jigsaw puzzles, reading, and crocheting, and she proudly cheered on the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. During the 20 years she lived in Sayre, PA, Ruth embraced a wonderful community of friends, and she loved baking cookies for the members of Greater Valley EMS. She loved playing shuffleboard, bingo, and cards—moving from house to house as friends took turns hosting lively card-game nights filled with laughter and companionship.

Ruth’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, yet her legacy of kindness, love, and strength will continue on through her family. Her memory will be cherished forever, and the moments shared with her will remain gifts to all who loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Services will be private.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to : The Children’s Heart Foundation or the United Service Organization (USO).

The family deeply appreciates the kindness, support, and compassion extended to them during this difficult time.
