Robert "RP" Paul Reagan

Robert Paul “RP” Reagan, 69, of Smithfield Twp., PA passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Robert Packer Hospital following a brief illness.

He was born on June 22, 1954, in Waverly, NY, the son of the late Robert E. and Regina (Farr) Reagan.

RP was a Veteran of the US Navy. He retired from the Elmira Psychiatric Center. Following his retirement, he made it known that everyday was a Saturday for him.

RP always had a cup of coffee or a Pepsi for himself and a friend, and more importantly there was always candy for his grandkids.  He was an avid hunter, loved vegetable gardening, especially potatoes and beef farming.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years Eileen L. (Johnson) Reagan, daughter and son-in-law Metra and Mark Maynard, and daughter Kacy Reagan (Steven Costas). He was the proud grandpa of Reagan Maynard and Bodi Maynard. Robert is also survived by his sister Ann Logue, brother and sister-in-law Michael and Amy Reagan, sister Barbara Cardoni, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Time of Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 11am-1pm at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 1pm with the Rev. Timothy Robson officiating.

Burial will be at a later date in Union Cemetery, East Smithfield, PA.
