Richard Gable Obituary
Richard L. "Richie" Gable, 56, of Sayre, PA, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017, at Sayre Health Care Center following an extended illness.
He was born on November 11, 1960, in Waverly, NY, son of Richard and Martha (Johnson) Gable.
Richie was a graduate of Waverly High School. He enjoyed swimming and was an avid Oakland Raiders fan.
He was predeceased by his son, Alex Gable.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Mickie Gable; son, Chad Gable; daughter, Kara Gable; step-sons, Dustin (Jamie) Pruyne and Cody Pruyne; parents, Richard and Martha; brother, Danny; sister, Donna (Denis) Turgeon; several aunts and uncles, including special uncle Albert (Shelly) Johnson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A time of remembrance will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017, at 3pm at the Waverly Barton Fire Hall, 94 William Donnelly Indus Pkwy, Waverly, NY 14892.
The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
