Richard W. Bux

Richard W. Bux, age 80, of Wyalusing, PA died Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Bradford Hills Nursing Home.

He was born on April 15, 1944, in Trenton, NJ, to Fred and Mary (Beffert) Bux.

Richard served his country honorably in the US Army. Richard will be remembered for his skills in woodworking. He was always on the ready to lend a helping hand. His wit and great smile will always be remembered when thinking of this good man who was kind to one and all.

Richard leaves behind his beloved wife, Judith, of 58 years. He is further survived by his brother; Michael (Carol) Bux, sister-in-law; Ginny (Larry) Bux, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his two brothers; Fred and Larry, and 3 sisters; Patricia, Rosemary, and Evelyn.

Following Richard’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
