Rebecca A. (Place) Reed

Rebecca A. Place Reed, 70, of Sayre, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 28,2024.

She was born April 6, 1954 in Towanda, PA the daughter of the late Leonard E. Place and Margurite (Vanderpool) Place.

Rebecca’s family was her life.  She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

Rebecca is survived by her loving husband Randy Reed of fifty-four years, her children Timothy (Stacey) Reed of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Jason (Chastity) Reed of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Stacie (John) Szucs of Lockwood, NY, Leonard (Erin) Reed of Troy, PA, fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, siblings Kathy (Harry) Vanderpool, Leonard (Lori) Conrad, Shane (Kelly) Conrad, Uncle Wayne Persun, aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family may call Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 11am to 1pm at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Burial will be in Bradford County Memorial Park.  Memorial donations may be made to Bradford County Votech (Northern Tier Career Center, 120 Career Lane, Towanda, PA 18848.
