Paul was a 1952 graduate of Sayre High School. While in high school, Paul played the bass in the senior orchestra. He also played the tuba in the band and earned a spot in the state band competition.

Upon returning home from the service, Paul joined IBM at Owego as an instructor in AN/ASQ-38 Systems Training. He had training and field engineering assignments on numerous programs, including Titan II, Poseidon, F-111 and E-3A. He retired in the late 1980’s as a staff engineer in E-3 systems Engineering.
He met his bride, Jeannine L. Jackson, and they spent 66 adventurous years together before his passing. Over the years, they enjoyed doing many things together, especially traveling. They visited almost every state and spent time photographing much of the scenery. Memorable trips were made to the Colorado River, Green River, Cataract Canyon, Lake Powell, and the Outer Banks. Paul enjoyed mining for Chrysocolla at Long Johns in Arizona, horseback riding at the Navajo National Monument to Keetceel, and fishing on the Susquehanna River.
Paul was a member of the Drum Corps and Penn York Highlanders, the Sayre Historical Society, and a 50 plus year member of the Sayre Elks.
