Paul Comerinsky

Paul Comerinsky, 83, of South Waverly, PA,  passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.

He was born on December 25, 1941, in Sayre, PA, the son of the late Nester and Ann (Roberts) Comerinsky.

Paul was a Veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially loved gardening and feeding the wildlife. He was a part of numerous Veteran’s Organizations.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife Judith Comerinsky.

Paul is survived by his daughter; Kimberly Spiegel, daughters and sons-in-law; Karen and Raymond Searfoss, and Jessica and Kenneth Steele, grandchildren; Dustin, Nicole, Corinne, and Corey, sister and brother-in-law;  Linda and Dr. Richard Dobson, niece Katharine Ann Dobson Amato and her husband Michael and their children Anne and Joseph.  

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 11am-2pm at Sam’s Bar and Grill, 912 North Wilbur Avenue, Sayre, PA. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
