Patricia Ann (Harris) Stearns

Patricia Ann Stearns, 86, of Sayre, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at the Robert Packer Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born on August 2, 1938, in Johnson City, NY, the daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Cora B. (Bostwick) Harris.

Patricia loved taking care of foster children. She enjoyed crocheting and doing word find puzzles. She loved watching the Waltons and Little House on the Prairie on TV.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her first husband; Joseph T. Tomasky, daughter; Julie Ann Aarons, granddaughter; Jennifer Berry, sister; Marjorie Hummond, brothers; Ronald Harris and Daryl L. Harris, Sr. and a special friend; Yvonne Harris.

Patricia is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years; Douglas Stearns, daughter; Teresa Berry, son; Lyle Tomasky, grandchildren; Joseph Berry, Deana Ingram, Ashley Lutz, David Berry, and Anthony Tomasky. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; Daryl L. Harris, Jr., Loretta Harris Rogers which was also her caregiver, Ross Harris, Lila Harris, Delta Burns, and Kenny Hummond.

Abiding by Patricia’s wishes, there will be no services. The family is being cared for by the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
