Pamala Jo “Pammy” Lahar, 58, of North Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of Waverly, NY, passed away on June 26, 2024, at Hope Hospice in Ft. Myers following a brief illness.

She was born on January 25, 1966, in Waverly, NY, the daughter of the late Sonny and Georgianna (Thompson) Ellers.

Pammy was employed as a Paralegal with Osterhout and McKinney in Fort Myers, FL for 30 years. She loved her family and animals, especially cats and dogs. She brought her beloved Joey into the fold after driving to work with him under the car unknowingly until she arrived. From that point on he became hers. Whenever family and friends gathered, they could count on Pammy’s sense of humor, her infectious laugh, and being the life of the party.

She enjoyed country music, NASCAR and remained an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr., and traveling, however her true hobby that she loved was golfing.

In addition to her parents, Pamala is predeceased by her nephew; Timmy Cole, Jr., and aunts Marsha Wolcott and Cindy Thompson.

Pamala is survived by her best friend of 31 years and beloved husband of 21 years; Bill Lahar, step-mother; Dee Ellers, brother; Jim (Barb) Canning, sister; Collette (Tim Cole) Ellers, brother; Tommy (Christine) Frost, step-brother; Bruce Floyd, aunts; Avis Haxton and Belinda (Gary) Randall, nieces and nephews; Brandon (Courtney) Fields, Dustin Harris, Chadevin (Jessica) Ellers, Jazzmyne (Kyle) Stanback, Sharon Cole, Crystal (Clinton) Hellmann, Stacey (Justin) Thomas and Nora Frost, great-great-niece and Pammy’s mini me; Erica, several great-nieces and great nephews, special cousins; Zina Chandler, Sheena, TJ, Todd, and Jeffery, and many other cousins, special friends; Shelley Robbins and Henrietta Card, and her beloved cat Joey.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life privately at a later time. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
