Nicholas James Merrick

Nicholas James Merrick, 39, of Gillett, PA, passed away at Robert Packer Hospital on Friday, May 24, 2024 after many years of fighting his battle to overcome his drug addiction.

He was born on May 6, 1985 in Sayre, PA, the son of the Richard and Nellie (Bernard) Merrick.

Nicholas was an avid knife collector.

He is predeceased by his father Richard Merrick.

Nicholas is survived by his mother Nellie Merrick, daughter Paige Merrick, sister Christina Greenwalt, and brothers Richard Merrick and Matthew Merrick, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family services will be private. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA
