Ned D. Vinson

Ned D. Vinson, 87, of Athens, PA, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, July 10, 2026 at home following an extended illness.

He was born on May 2, 1939 in Columbia Cross Roads, PA.

Ned was a life-time dairy farmer. He loved spending time outdoors and hunting.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 39 years, Shirley (Walker) Vinson, and daughter-in-law Ayra Vinson.

Ned is survived by his sons of Alan Vinson of Ocala, FL and Kevin Vinson of Troy, PA, daughter, Esther (Vinson) Morgan of Athens, PA, numerous grandchildren, and his great-grandchild, his little buddy, Stetson, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Following Ned’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
