Nathan L. Young

Nathan L. Young, 62, of Athens Twp., PA passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

He was born on August 9, 1961, in Towanda, PA, the son of the late Alfred L. and Thelma L. Young.

Nathan loved spending time with his son and grandson. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on his car. He also enjoyed mowing his lawn and being sure that the outside of his home looked beautiful.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister; Julie Allen.

Nathan is survived by his son; Johnathan L. Young, daughter; Jamie Green, grandson; Johnathan Alan Young, sister and brother-in-law; Peggy and Fred Frisbie, sister; Brenda Gilliard, brother; Rick Young, niece whom he was very close with and her husband; Melissa and Dale Vanderpool, nieces; Abby Goodnow, Jessie Young, Laurin Gilliard, Sarah Vanderpool, and Briana Vanderpool, and great-great-nephew; Coen.

A Memorial Service will be held at a future date.  The family is being assisted by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
