Nancy A. (Detrick) Jackson

Nancy A. Jackson, 73, of Athens, PA, passed away at home with her son, Jeff, by her side on Monday, May 26, 2025 following an extended illness.

She was born on September 24, 1951, in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late James and Barbara (Gailey) Detrick.

Nancy worked at the Tom Thumb Day Care for many years. She was an active member of the Valley Active Living Senior Center.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Gerald Jackson and son, Eric Jackson.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Donna Jackson, granddaughter, Olivia Jackson, brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Karen Detrick, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Time of Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 11:30am-1:30pm at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at the funeral home at 1:30pm with Fr. Shinu officiating.

Burial will follow at Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
