Milford "Milt" L. Horrocks, Jr.

Milford L. “Milt” Horrocks, Jr., age 90, of Troy, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 19, 2025.

He was born on February 21, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Milford L. Horrocks, Sr. and Della Ward Horrocks.

Milt loved target shooting at the Towanda Sportsman Club, building rifles and filling his own shells.  He was an avid piano player and tuner.  In his younger days, he enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

He is predeceased by his wife, Marie Miller Horrocks and his son-in-law, Richie Coffey.

Milt is survived by his daughter, Susan Coffey; son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Cindy Horrocks; grandchildren, Jennifer, Janis, Michelle, Amy, and Michael; great-grandchildren, Giselle, Hailey and Max; his friend Patty Ward; also survived by his beloved cat, Clarissa.

Family and friends may call at Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 S. Main Street, Athens, PA on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, where a Blessing Service will be held at 11:00 am with Fr, Daniel Toomey officiating.  Burial will follow at Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
