Martha (Johnson) Gable

Martha Gable, 82, of Waverly, NY passed away Friday August 18, 2023 at home surrounded by her family after an extended illness.

She was born on April 10, 1941, in Waverly, NY the daughter of the late Albert and Rosie (Lattimer) Johnson.

Martha loved spending time with her family and friends and her beloved parrot Marty.  She enjoyed going to Tioga Downs.  She loved reading and watching the deer and the birds at the many feeders in their back yard. 

She is predeceased by her grandson Alex, her son Richard, and her siblings Jimmy, Rosie, and Shirley.

She is survived by her loving husband Richard of 63 years, children Donna (Dennis) Turgeon of Virginia, Dan (Anne) Gable of Waverly, grandchildren David, Tyler, Jacob, Katelyn, Kara, and Chad, great grandchildren Jase, Gunner, Liam, and Adelynn, brother Albert (Michelle) Johnson, aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
