Marleah R. (Westbrook) Space

Marleah R. Space, age 67, of Towanda, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Robert Packer Hospital.

She was born on August 5, 1956 in Troy, PA, daughter of the late Henry and Emily Shaffer Westbrook.

Marleah had several interests throughout her life which included bird watching, puzzles, watching tv games shows, cooking, baking wood working and carpentry.  She was an avid cat lover and had several as pets over the years.

She is predeceased by her husband, Andrew Space; brothers Joseph Westbrook and Thomas Westbrook; and grandson, Nathaniel Updegraff.

Marleah is survived by her children, Marcy (James Vanderpool) Fitzgerald and Rick (Erin) Hall; grandchildren, Alexander Updegraff, Hannah Hall, Joseph Hall and Adam Hall; great-grandson, Dawson Hall; sister, Patricia Harkness; brother, Robert Westbrook; also survived by several nieces, nephews, close friends, and her beloved cats, Pretty Girl and Little Man. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens.
