Marcia Ann (Mead) Arnold

Marcia Ann Arnold, 70, of Sayre, PA passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, at her home following many years of declining health.

She was born on June 8, 1954, in Norwich, NY, the daughter of the Louis and Helen (Barnes) Mead. She spent her early years in Binghamton, NY area and moved to Sayre in the 1990’s to help care for her aging parents.

For the past few years, she lived at the Keystone Manor, where she made many friends and enjoyed a lot of good card games, bingo, and aggravation. Marcia loved crocheting, knitting, and crafts, which she did for family and friends. Christmas was one of her favorite times of the year, and she had already decorated her apartment.

Marcia struggled for many years with a lot of health problems and now is at peace. She will be missed by her sons and her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She was thrilled to have recently seen her new great-grandson, whom she had excitedly awaited.

Marcia is survived by her son; William “Bill” Arnold of Sayre and his children; Spencer, Jonathan, Alyson (Nick), Josh, and Loren, her son; Robert “Bobby” and wife Amy and their daughter; Hayley of Virginia, her new great-grandson and her ex-husband; Bob Arnold. She is also survived by a sister; Monica (Clyde) Knolles and a brother-in-law; Brian David, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, sister; Darlene David, and an infant brother.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 2:00pm in the Social Room at the Keystone Manor, 900 North Elmer Avenue, Sayre, PA. Funeral
