Louise A. Bunker, 90, of Athens, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, February 16, 2024.
She was born on June 11, 1933, in Sayre, PA. Daughter of the late Leon and Grace Hubbard Tracy.
Louise was a 1951 graduate of E. Smithfield High School. She was a talented piano and key board player and enjoyed playing music at various churches throughout her life and even played in a band for a period of time. Louise was the business office supervisor at Bradford County Manor, following her retirement she joined a bowling league, enjoyed traveling and working in her flower garden.
She is predeceased by her son, Leonard Pike; brother, Raymond “Gene” Tracy; grandchildren, Kirsten Bagley and J. Robert MacBride; and great-grandchild, Alexander Tracy.
Louise is survived by children, Deborah (Hal) Norton, Cathie (Stanley) Miller, Patricia (Ron) Ackley and Joy Pike; also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 11 am to 12 pm at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services to follow at Federated Church, located at the corner of Church and Main Streets, East Smithfield, PA at 12:30 pm with the Rev. Timothy Robson officiating.
Burial will be at Union Cemetery, East Smithfield, PA.
