Lois May Burgess

Lois May Burgess, 45, of Stevensville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 1, 2023, with her family by her side at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.

She was born on December 13, 1977, in Sayre, PA the daughter of Wilma Burgess. 

Lois loved being with her family and they were always her priority. She enjoyed creating latch hook and diamond art projects.

She is predeceased by her mother Wilma Burgess.

Lois is survived by her beloved companion of 24 years, Tracy Kithcart, her children Tracy Kithcart, Jr., Harvey Kithcart, Marie Kithcart, and Glen Kithcart, grandchildren Zane, Dawson, Marlee, Christine, and Joshua, brother Jeff Woodruff, sister Lisa Burgess, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday October 13th at Round Top Park at Pavilion 13 by the pond from noon until 6:00pm. The family is being assisted by the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.

Memorial donations may be made in Lois’s name to Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA 18810 to help offset the funeral expenses.
