Kenneth "Smitty" E. Smith, Jr.

Kenneth E. “Smitty” Smith, Jr., 50, of Gillett, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Arnot-Ogden Medical Center.

He was born on September 14, 1974, in Elmira, NY, the son of the late Kenneth E., Sr. and Linda (Nero) Smith.

Smitty was and avid hunter and enjoyed playing pool. He enjoyed watching auto racing and demolition derbies. Smitty was an avid San Francisco 49er Fan.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother; Barry Smith.

Kenneth is survived by his son; Hunter Smith, daughter; Kara Smith, sisters; Lisa (Clyde Clark) Tice and Tina Smith, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. The family is being cared for by the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
