Julianne C. Wright

Julianne “Julie” C. Wright, 66, of Sayre, PA, passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2026 at Robert Packer Hospital.

She was born on July 12, 1959, in Waverly, NY and was a daughter of the late Frank and Wilma (Shoemaker) Baumgartner.

Julie was a graduate of Sayre High School and went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree from Mansfield University. She was employed for over 30 years at Martha Lloyd Community Services in Troy, PA until her retirement and was also a member of Epiphany Catholic Church. Julie will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Julie will be dearly missed by her son William “Billy” W. Wright and his wife Kayti of Sayre, PA; grandchildren Aliyah and Austin Benjamin and Jesse Porter; brothers Frank, Eric, and Jeremy Baumgartner; sisters Marilee Brabson and Libby Seyfried; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” E. Wright and her sister Rebecca Van Alstine.
