Joseph W. Stevens

Joseph W. Stevens, 62, of Athens, PA, passed away at home unexpectedly on Friday, February 21, 2025.

He was born November 18, 1962, in Sayre, PA, the son of Donald V. and Norma L. (Morningstar) Stevens.

Joseph graduated from Sayre High School, Class of 1980. Following graduation, he joined the US Air Force, retiring after 20 years of honorable service. He was an avid hockey and football fan.

He is predeceased by his niece; Nikki Lou Darrow.

Joseph is survived by his son; Shawn Stevens, his parents; Donald V. and Norma L. Stevens, siblings; Tracie Park, Danna (Eric) Darrow, Lynda Ross, Kelly (Kenny) Draper, Michael Stevens, Suzanne (Bill Soltis) Storelli, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Athens, PA.
