John Davidson, Sr. Obituary
John A. Davidson, Sr., 68, of Elmira, NY formerly of Athens, passed away following his courageous battle with cancer on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Robert Packer Hospital.
He was born on January 31, 1955, in Sayre, PA, the son of the late Max and Juanita (Lombard) Davidson.
He worked with Trayers Products, prior to retiring in Elmira, NY. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed any activity that meant he could be outside. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping, and boating.
John is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Sarah and Tim Gooch, daughters Brandy Davidson and Rachael Davidson, son and daughter-in-law John, Jr. and Leslie Davidson, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law Mary and Butch Benjamin and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Following John’s wishes, there will be no services. The family is being assisted by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
