John Benninger, Sr. Obituary
John C. Benninger, Sr., 78, of West Burlington Township, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, following a brief illness. He was born in August 20, 1947 in Sayre.
John was a loving father. He was a graduate of Wyalusing High School. John was a Project Manager for the Broward County, FL School Board prior to retiring.
He was predeceased by his wife, Debi Benninger.
John is survived by his sons, Chad (partner Anthony) Benninger, Chris (Cheryl) Kupkovich, John, Jr. (Emily) Benninger, Joe (Jenny) Kupkovich, daughters, Colette Fluck, Rhonda Brown, and Holly Benninger, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be no services. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
