Joan Leone Obituary
Joan A. Leone, 90, of Ulster, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the Bradford Hill Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on October 16, 1932, in Hoboken, NJ, the daughter of the late William and Rose (Eutenhouer) Zeituogel.
Joan enjoyed sewing, art, and painting.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband James V. Leone and her grandson Michael Christopher Leone.
Joan is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Edmund and Isabel Leone, grandson and his wife James Peter and Jenniffer Leone, great-grandchildren Gianella, Gianna, and Guliana Leone, and her sister and brother-in-law Rosemarie and Louis Auletto.
A Time of Visitation will be held for friends and family on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Church of the Epiphany, 304 South Elmer Avenue, Sayre, PA with Fr. Daniel Toomey officiating.
A private family burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Ridgebury, PA.
