James V. Campbell

James V. Campbell, 79, of Waverly, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at his home, with his family by his side.

He was born on May 11, 1945, in Sayre, PA, the son of the late Victor P. and Dorothy L. (Washburn) Campbell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife; Anne Keiffer Campbell and his son; Kevin Campbell.

James is survived by his daughter-in-law; Billie Jo Campbell, granddaughter Jessica (George Smith) Campbell, grandsons; James (Lisa Dungy) Campbell and Allan (Ashley) Stephenson, Jr., 6 great grandchildren, and special friend Sandra Kline.

Following James’ wishes, there will be no public services. A family private burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery, Waverly, NY. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
