James Readnour Obituary

James Dale Readnour, 78, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Athens Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.

He was born on April 5, 1945, in Trenton, MO, the son of the late Jessie a. and Beatrice J. (Thompson) Readnour.

James always enjoyed life and having a good time with his wife, Erma. He loved watching football and he enjoyed playing pool, hunting, and fishing.

James is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Erma Readnour, stepson and his wife Charles Tinkham, daughter Sylvia Tinkham, sister Shirley, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Following James’ wishes, there will be no services. The family is being assisted by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
