Jacqueline "Jackie" C.H. Adams, 56, of Sayre, PA passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Sayre Health Care Center after a period of declining health.
She was born on February 12, 1968, in Woodbury, NJ, the daughter of Clifton and Elizabeth Adams.
Jacqueline is survived by her mother; Elizabeth Adams in NC, brother; Mark Paul H. Adams in IA, niece; Makayla Deluney in IA, and her dear friends; Sara, Corey, Augustine, and Frayla Erickson, Gail and Dave Wardrop and their family, Annette Batterson, Lucy Campbell, Anna Skeweris and her family, and her many friends that she loved dearly.
She was predeceased by her father; Clifton J.H. Adams and grandmother; Angelica Pettiford.
Jackie's first love was Jesus and she never hesitated to share her faith with anyone. She loved going to church and having her mother read to her from the Bible. Jackie is now free of all physical and mental scars and sitting at the feet of Jesus in the beautiful place He prepared for her. Her home church for many years was the Athens Wesleyan Church that she loved and supported. Once you got to know Jackie, she was a kind, loving, and very honest person. Jackie was loved by all those who knew her and will be missed by many. Always saying, Thank You, and meant it from her heart. She was noted for saying, "Oh, My Heavens" for anything that took her by surprise, and her notable fist bumping. Jackie enjoyed going out for breakfast, lunches, and loved her pizza.
