Gregory W. Blair

Gregory W. Blair, 67, of Horseheads, NY passed away Wednesday April 3, 2024 at Corning Center for Rehabilitation following an extended illness. 

He was born November 10, 1956, in Elmira, NY the son of the late Wayne C. and Joyce A. (Corneby) Blair. 

Gregory was a 1974 Athens Highschool Graduate.  He worked at Labarr & Labarr for many years as an accountant, then finished out his career at Jubilee Grocery Store in Horseheads.  Gregory enjoyed taking many trips, going to car shows, vacationing in Florida, and California.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his grandparents George and Helen Corneby, brother Frank Blair, and his beloved dog Abby. 

Gregory is survived by his siblings Dennis Blair, Marilyn Blair, Ann Marie Blair and Edward Blair; aunts, uncles, special nieces Brittany Spencer, Jessica Blair, special nephews Sean Blair, Anthony Blair, Nicholas Spencer, also many other beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family may call Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 2:00 to 4:00pm at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 S. Main St. Athens, PA.  Funeral services will follow at 4:00pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating.
