Georgianna M. (Roth) Suleski

Georgianna M. Suleski, 72, of Athens Twp., PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, following a brief illness.

She was born on December 13, 1951 in Yonkers, NY, the daughter of the late George and Lucy (Paladino) Roth.

Georgianna loved spending time with her family. She was dedicated to her husband, family, and to her career in the medical field. Georgianna was an animal lover, especially to all of her pets. Georgianna was studious, and always exceptional in her studies. She was dark and twisted with a macabre sense of humor which served her well through dubious time. “Our garden was full of thorns and brambles, not the place for healthy growth, but we flourished despite it.”

She loved watching the UFC and horror movies on TV. She enjoyed going for car rides and to the beach with her daughters.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved husband; Joseph John Suleski, stepfather; Harry Walsh, and brother-in-law; John Connery.

Georgianna is survived by her children; Johanna Suleski, Lauri Wech, Nicole Suleski, and Lucy Wilkinson, grandchildren; Jared Wech, Kayla Yarrison, Aubrey Yarrison, Alexandrea Wech, and Christina Yarrison. She is also survived by her sister; Kathy Connery, brothers and sisters-in-law; Joseph and Ruth Roth and Harry, Jr. and Margie Walsh, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved cats and dog.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. The family is being cared for by the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
