Frederick M. Ellis

Frederick M. Ellis, 71, of Sayre, PA passed away unexpectedly on Monday May 13, 2024 at his home.

He was born May 13, 1953, in Sayre, PA the son of the late Wilson M. and Viola (Barnhardt) Ellis.

Frederick was a dedicated employee with Anchor Glass in Elmira, NY, retiring after 43 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife Frances L. (Snyder) Ellis, sister Linda Goodwin, sister-in-law Donna Ellis, and brother-in-law Guy Peck.

Frederick is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Sarah and Jarrod Nolan, son Michael Ellis, son and daughter-in-law Michael and Lori Temple, daughter Kayla Temple, granddaughter Marin Nolan, sister Diane Walter, brother Bill Ellis, sister, Jean Peck, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In keeping with Frederick’s wishes, there will be no services. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.

A private burial will take place in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
