Ernest Hoffman

Ernest Hoffman, 92, of Towanda, PA passed away Saturday June 8 2024 at Towanda Skilled Nursing following an extended illness.

He was born April 11, 1932, in Wyalusing, PA the son of the late George and Anna (Shaefer) Hoffman.

Ernie enjoyed collecting coins, and pottery, and going to auctions.

He is predeceased by his ex-wife Barb Moon Rosengrant, with whom he has two sons.

Ernie is survived by his former spouse and close friend Mary Hoffman, his children Helana Hoffman, Keith Hoffman, Kevin Hoffman, step-daughter Penny Hardenstine, grandchildren Heather Place, Jennifer Gutzler, Erin De Boer, Andrea Lester, Nicholas Hoffman, Allison Hoffman great grandchildren Jayden Place, Alex Place, Greyson Gutzler, Makenzie Gutzler, Cecillia De Boer, Piet De Boer, Kamden De Boer, Eliana Lester, Riley Lester, Hadley Hoffman, Aria Lester, his close friends Peg and Merle Mott, his auction buddy Donald Collins, and his cat Buddy.

Friends and family may call Thursday June 13, 2024 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 S. Main St. Athens, PA.  Funeral Services will follow at 1:00pm.

Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery
