Donna Sassman Robinson

Donna Sassman Robinson, age 92, of Athens, PA, passed away at home on February 16, 2026. She was born on July 19, 1933 in Sayre, PA.

Donna was predeceased by her first husband, James Sassman, and her second husband, Gerald Robinson, daughter; Kay Sassman Boyd, siblings, Raymond Johnson and Marlene Northrup, and son-in-law, John Scrivener.

She was employed by P&C, working in the bakery for many years. Donna enjoyed the companionship of her co-workers and many close friends.

Donna is survived by her children, Alan Sassman, Kim Scrivener, and Donald (Sarah) Sassman, her brother, Donald Johnson, grandchildren: Pam (Brian) Heisman, Jennifer (Rob) Dietz, Travis Scrivener, and Christina (Jason) Pharr, great-grandchildren, Trevor, Alex, Ricky, Lily, Ivy, James, Paris, Savannah, Andrew, Evangeline, and Jason Jr., and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to thank all those that cared for her at Robert Packer Hospital and Guthrie Hospice.

A graveside service will take place at French Asylum Cemetery, 4715 French Asylum Road, Towanda, PA, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
