Donna M. (Boston) Peel

Donna M. Boston Peel, 83, of Sayre, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at the Sayre Assisted Living and Personal Care.

She was born on November 20, 1942 in Ridley, PA, the daughter of the late John F. and Alice (Fountain) Boston.

Donna was a 1961 graduate of Sayre High School. She was employed with Wyeth Pharmaceutical Company, retiring after 33 years of dedicated service.  Donna was a member of the Valley United Presbyterian Church, serving on the Worship Committee and as a greeter. She was an avid nature and animal lover, especially of cats.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Othar “Beanie” Peel,

great-granddaughter, Gianna Mastalski, and brother Richard Boston.

Donna is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Kevin Bergmaier, and Dawn and Jeff Griffey; grandchildren, Tara Walters, Tai (Jimmy) West, David Pierson, and Amber Griffey; great-grandchildren, Eirelynd and Alyssa. She is also survived by her siblings and their spouses, Ronald (Mary) Boston, Diane (Tom) Ginalski, David (Gale) Boston, and Dennis (Sandy) Boston, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
