Obituary
Donna Lee Ellis, age 68, of Sayre passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 8, 2022, at Arnot-Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY, following a brief illness.
She was born September 13, 1954, in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late Phillip Wade and Donna Brown Zurn Babcock.
Donna was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is predeceased by her step-father Ralph Babcock.
Donna is survived by her loving husband of 50 years William C. Ellis, her son Jeff (Liz) Ellis of Sayre, grandchildren Sophia Ellis, Asher Ellis, mother Donna Brown Zurn Babcock, sisters Bonnie (Rex) Price, Sharon (Joe) Keenan, Debbie Zurn, and Darlene “Dede” (Rick) Borovicka, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
At Donna’s request, services will be private. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
Burial will be Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
