Donna M. (Strong) Boynton

Donna M. Boynton, 64, of Horseheads, NY, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at home following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on May 10, 1960 in Endicott, NY daughter of the late Olen and Mary Blakemore Strong.

Donna enjoyed going on wine tours with her friends, going on outings on Lake Ontario, and spending time with her family and friends.  In her career, she managed several different gas stations and restaurants and retired as a manager from Dandy Mini Marts in 2022.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Ryan Bidwell and brother, Danny Strong.

Donna is survived by her husband of 16 years, Ken Boynton; step-son, Bryan Boynton; siblings, Debbie Palmer, Doreen (Keith) Carlyle, Dennis (Laura Warner) Strong and Doug (Cindi) Strong; also survived by her “granddaughter” Fraya, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life for Donna will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Stong’s Pond, 49 Depew Road, Barton, NY 13734 starting at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
