Deborah Collins Obituary

Deborah Lynn Collins, 76, of Athens, PA, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on June 20, 1950, in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late Richard R. and Dorothy L. Rockwell White.

Deborah was a member of the North Waverly Chapel. She volunteered at many of the local nursing homes through the N.H. Ministry of her church. 

Deborah is survived by her husband of nearly fifty years, Michael B. Collins; daughter, Esther Collins; son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Elise Collins; grandchildren, Jonah, Ezra, Ezekiel, Rebekah, Isaac, and Katheryn. She is also survived by her brothers, Daniel, Eric, Jonathan, and her twin brother, David; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Private Graveside Service will be held for the family. Arrangements are under the care of Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 5pm at the North Waverly Chapel, Route 34, Waverly, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Deborah’s name to the: North Waverly Chapel, Route 34, Waverly, NY 14892.
