Cindy Roxanne Decker-Davidson

Cindy Roxanne Decker-Davidson, 67, of Chemung, NY, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born on May 13, 1957 in Waverly, NY, the daughter of the late Donald and Alice Ann “Bea” (Barnhart) Decker.

Cindy was especially proud of her Native American Ancestry, the Canadian Mohawk Tribe. She was an animal lover and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Cindy loved spending time outside especially tending to her gardens that she took great pride in.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers Thomas Decker and Lacey Decker and sisters Janet Blaasch and Becky Decker.

Cindy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sarah and Timothy Gooch, daughters Brandy Davidson and Rachael Davidson, son and daughter-in-law John A. and Leslie Davidson, Jr., and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers David Decker and Donald Decker, sisters Rosie Moore, Shelby Decker, and Alice Springstead, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In keeping with Cindy’s wishes, there will be no services. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
