Carol Jean Ward

Carol Jean Ward, 77, of Greenville, NC, passed away on September 18th,
2024. She was born on August 30th, 1947, in Athens, PA to Eugene and Vivian
Ward.

Carol was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a
cherished friend to many. She dedicated her life to her family and made fast friends
with her Sunday School class at Parker's Chapel upon moving south to Greenville
in 2016. She was known for her love for her canine best friend Eboney and her
crafting projects.
 

Carol is survived by her daughter Jeannie (Howeler) Post grandchildren Alia Burke (Laura), Alexis Post (Jacob Welch),
Allison Post, Alyssa Post, Aliza Post, great-granddaughter Hayden Welch, and special friends John and Judy Radford. She is
preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Ward and Vivian Ward.

Private burial services will be held at Tioga Point Cemetery in Athens, PA.

Carol will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on
in our hearts forever.
