Carlene L. (Eckman) Vanaman

Carlene L. Vanaman, 74, of Canton, passed on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, following a brief illness at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.

She was born on January 6, 1951, the daughter of the late Charles and Marjorie (Hartford) Eckman.

Carlene was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is predeceased by her brothers; Punk Williams and Chuck Eckman, and her sister Sharon Herbert.

Carlene is survived by her son; Brian Vanaman, sons and daughters-in-law; Erik and Jennifer Vanaman and Anthony and Lisa Vanaman, her cherished grandchildren; Jaina, Brian, Emily, and Bobby. She is also survived by her twin sister; Connie Cutler, Bena Harman, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews that loved her very much. She also leaves behind her many cousins and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the supervision of Lowery-Urban Funeral Home, Athens, PA.
